About Lynda Smith and West Coast Wigs

Lynda Smith owner of West Coast Wigs is known for her experience in hand crafting and designing wigs and hair pieces for over 25 years and offers complete privacy for her clients at the West Coast Wigs Hair Loss Studio.

When a hair loss client arrives at Lynda’s Studio for their one on one private consultation, they are provided with several options of wigs and or hair pieces to complement their natural look. During this complementary consultation their choice is custom color blended and the resulting wig or hair piece choice is either human hair, human tri-fiber blenz or synthetic. This ensures that the client looks their natural self and that they experience compassion and understanding of the medical related hair loss they are experiencing, leaving them with a sense of well being.

West Coast Wigs conducts Hair Loss Workshops in association with Lions Gate Hospital’s Chemo ward, which provide clients with a time of learning of how to cope effectively with their hair loss, makeup tips, skin changes and nutrition needs. During this workshop they also enjoy the experience involving alternatives such as latest wigs fashions, custom human hair bangs, back pieces, and clip-in additions.

Lynda also volunteers as a Hair Loss Specialist with the organization "Look Good Feel Better" who provides workshops in association with the Vancouver Cancer Clinic.

West Coast Wigs host many special events to raise funds to for the fight against cancer. Most of Lynda’s client’s are undergoing chemotherapy treatments and she believes that her expertise helps her provide compassion and the counseling that they need to understand their hair loss. Lynda says "It’s very rewarding when my clients hug me and say thank you for making this an uplifting experience for me."
